We hand fabricate each piece by hand, one-at-a-time in the United States. We quality check every detail to make sure every piece meets our high standards. In addition to our 30-day return policy, we offer a 30-day warranty on the craftsmanship of our jewelry.

30 Days Returns

We offer an exceptional 30-day money back return policy on your Bashert Jewelry piece. For a full refund - just send your jewelry back in its original - UNWORN CONDITION.  It's that simple.  All you pay is the return shipping and insurance for the full value of the item. Your complete satisfaction with our product is guaranteed or the item may be returned within thirty days from when it was shipped. You will only pay for return shipping and insurance fees. Please note that to be eligible for return, items must be in their original purchase condition, include all product documentation, and received by Bashert Jewelry within 30 days of the day they were shipped by Bashert Jewelry.**

To be eligible for FULL REFUND: 

Returned merchandise must be undamaged and in "new and unused condition" to be deemed acceptable for refund or exchange. Items showing obvious signs of wear or alteration by a jeweler other than Bashert Jewelry will not be accepted. Items must be in original condition.

* Bashert Jewelry accepts merchandise returns via mail only.

**  All orders under $500 are returnable subject to $100 restocking fee. (Valid for USA Orders ONLY)  

*** Returns do not apply to the following items:

  1. International returns. (Items shipped to Bashert Jewelry outside of USA)
  2. Non-USD currencies.
  3. Item(s) shipped by Bashert Jewelry to the customer over 30 days ago.
  4. Items that became damaged or defective after delivery.
  5. Custom Engraved Items can be returned upon consultation with our designer's team, however, a re-polishing and re-stocking fee of $150 will be applied to those returns.

All custom ordered items, not displayed on the website -  ARE NOT eligible for returns or refunds. 

Upon consultation with our designer's team, we can issue a store credit for the full amount of the initial purchase to be used for any further purchases for the amount of/or greater, than the initial order for up to 1 year after the initial purchase. Any unused store credit will be forfeited thereafter. Custom designed items or customized orders will be eligible for store credit only after a consultation with our designers.

For assistance with e.g. repairs, re-sizes, or to report as damaged or defective - please contact Bashert Jewelry at  1.888.580.7378  before shipping items back. For orders shipped internationally, we cannot offer ring resizing since taxes are levied every time a jewelry item crosses the border.

If a package or item delivered to you arrives damaged, please refuse the shipment or call us immediately at  1.888.580.7378.  Please retain all packing materials unless instructed otherwise by Bashert Jewelry. Claims for damaged or missing items must be reported immediately or within 24 hours of receipt of your order.

Bashert Jewelry will not be responsible for lost or damaged returned shipments.

 

Returns on Diamonds

• Returns on Bashert Jewelry "Hand-Picked" Diamonds is 15 days from the item's shipping.

• Returns on "Custom Selected/Requested" Diamonds/Color Stones by the customer are limited to 7 days after the item was shipped.

 

Returns on Mountings

• Returns on Bashert Jewelry mountings - all eligible for 30 day returns.

• Returns on "custom designed" mountings/rings - eligible for store credit after consultation with the designer's department.

 

Returns of Single Jewelry Items $500 or More:

Please call a Bashert Jewelry at  1.888.580.7378,  for individual items over $500, and items for repair, re-size, or to report damage or defect. We recommend that you securely package your items including original packing materials and ship back fully insured.

 

Returns of Single Jewelry Items Under $500.

All orders under $500 are returnable subject to $100 restocking fee. (Return option valid for USA Orders ONLY)

Please call a Bashert Jewelry at  1.888.580.7378,  for instruction on returns for items under $500. We recommend that you securely package your items including original packing materials and ship back fully insured.

We are not responsible for lost or damaged returned shipments.

We conduct a thorough quality review of every returned item. Items that show signs of wear or have been altered, re-sized, stone changed, (by any jeweler other than Bashert Jewelry), or in any way damaged cannot be accepted for return. Please allow another 7 - 10 days after processing for your bank to post credit to your account.

Please allow approximately 2 weeks for your refund to be processed. Refunds can only be issued to the original source the purchase has been placed from.

Non-Refundable Items

"Custom Engraved" jewelry items may be returned, however, a re-polishing and re-stocking fee of $150 will be applied to those returns. 

Special orders are final sale and are not eligible for return. Improperly delivered or uninsured packages will be refused upon receipt. Returns with missing paperwork or product will not be processed.

How to Prepare a Return or Exchange

To return a jewelry item to Bashert Jewelry, follow the below process:

  1. Package securely your Return. We recommend you use the original shipping box, including all original packaging and collateral material. If your item was delivered with a diamond certificate and that certificate is not returned, you will be liable for the $250 replacement cost.

  2. Insure Your Package. 

* Over $500: We recommend you ship your package via FedEx Service insured for the total value of the contents. If you wish, you may request a return receipt for a nominal fee that alerts you once Bashert Jewelry has received your shipment. On shipments of  $1000 or more, we recommend using US Postal Service Registered Mail™ for optimal tracking capability. (FedEx® will not insure merchandise over $500 and UPS® will not insure merchandise over $1000).

* More than $25,000: High-Value returns often require special arrangements. We recommend contacting Bashert Jewelry for assistance and suggested methods for returning your purchase.

PayPal Returns

PayPal orders may be returned for credit back to your PayPal account. Please allow up to 2 weeks for your account to be credited.

Return Shipping Charges

Shipping charges, including Special Handling and any other related costs, are non-refundable. If you receive any portion of your order damaged, please contact us prior to returning the items. Bashert Jewelry will not reimburse you for unauthorized shipping expenses incurred. Please retain all shipping materials for inspection.

If we request that you return the merchandise to us, we may reimburse you for full or partial return shipping expenses at our discretion. We will not reimburse you for overnight, express or other special services used at your discretion.

Credits to Your Charge Card

Credit card purchases and PayPal purchases will be refunded against the credit card or account used for the original purchase. Please allow up to 2 weeks from the date that Bashert Jewelry has received your return for your account to be credited. You may wish to contact your credit card company on posting guidelines as they can vary. If you made a purchase of $1000 or greater using a bank wire and are an International customer, your refund will take approximately 3 weeks from the date of the return's receipt. For bank wire purchases under $1000, please allow 3-4 weeks. Bank wire refunds are posted to the original account they originated from.

Cancel an Order

If you would like to cancel an order please call us at  1.888.580.7378. We will attempt to accommodate order changes or cancellations up to 5 days from the date the original order was placed. Some changes will result in a shipping delay and price adjustments. No cancellations will be accepted after 5 days from the date the original order was placed. We are unable to accommodate changes or cancellations on special order requests and/or orders that have already shipped.

Engraving

To request engraving on a pendant or on the inside/outside of a ring, call Bashert Jewelry Customer Care at  1.888.580.7378  and we will be happy to help you.

Custom Made Pieces

We work with our customers to satisfy any customization they request. Some of our designs can be further customized upon mutual agreement. /stone sizes; color stones, design changes/ We also work on creating custom "one-of-a-kind" jewelry pieces by request only. All custom made “one-of-a-kind pieces” are  NOT RETURNABLE or REFUNDABLE

Upon consultation with our designer's team, we can issue a store credit for the full amount of the initial purchase to be used for any further purchases for the amount of/or greater, than the initial order for up to 1 year after the initial purchase. Any unused store credit will be forfeited thereafter. Free Shipping

We're investing in making it as easy as possible for you to give us a try. Allow up to 2 weeks for your jewelry piece to be completed and shipped.

International Shipping

Customs, Duties, and Taxes - The customs office of the destination country may impose customs fees, import duties, taxes, and other charges to your international order where applicable. These additional charges required for customs clearance are the responsibility of the recipientsPlease be advised that Bashert Jewelry has no control over any of these charges and cannot guarantee estimates of customs, duties, and taxes that may be applied. The actual amount charged by customs may differ. Please contact your local customs office for further details.

International Shipment Limitations

Please note that products shipped internationally may not be designed in accordance with destination country standards, specifications, and labeling requirements. The customer is responsible for determining that products can be lawfully and legally imported into the destination country.

International Shipment Privacy

Please note that international shipments are subject to opening and inspection by customs authorities. Additionally, information about your order, shipment, and products contained therein may be communicated to our shippers and the customs authorities as part of the customs clearance process.

Perfect Fit & Exceptional Quality

Bashert Jewelry offers one free ring resizing*, return shipping not included, in the first 100 days after the original order was shipped. 

However, resizing is only available to orders placed in the USA. For orders shipped internationally, we cannot offer ring resizing since taxes are levied every time a jewelry item crosses the border. If you have any questions regarding Brilliant Earth's return policy, please do not hesitate to contact Bashert Jewelry customer service.

* Resizing that involves adding precious stones or metal (gold or platinum) will be honored after a personal consultation and pricing with our designer’s team and master goldsmith.

** Engraved items can be resized after a consultation with our master goldsmith. Additional charges may occur for re-engraving the piece if needed.

All Bashert Jewelry pieces are hand-crafted in our studio and made to order. Please allow up to 2 weeks for your jewelry piece to be completed and shipped. Unless specified otherwise by the customer, all pieces are shipped upon completion. The customer can request specific delivery date.

Responsibly Sourced Gems & Metals

Because the earth is precious too, we make our jewelry from responsible materials. We hand-select fine natural gems that are conflict free. Our suppliers make an extra effort to make sure that these precious treasures are mined responsibly too. We use recycled or responsibly mined precious metals to cast your jewelry. Not all findings and chain are available in recycled metals yet, but we are working to do what we can and to support industry steps toward a totally transparent supply chain.

At Bashert Jewelry, we offer you a collection of the world's finest cut diamonds. Pre-selected for exceptional quality, the cut, color, and clarity of our loose diamonds are evaluated based on a standardized grading scale. Also, each loose diamond is accompanied by a grading report from either GIA or AGSL, independent diamond grading labs with the most stringent grading scales of all labs.
