I have traveled the World to witness spring in all her vivid colors. Regardless on the geographic location, the feeling always stayed the same – complete, indescribable, youthful and somewhat foolish joy. Oh, the sweet, tingling feeling of excitement, that sweeps over the world, come spring. However after many years, spent in the amazing city of Chicago, I learned to appreciate spring that much more. “The City on the Lake” waking up after a long, gray season - an extraordinary picture. You can taste the feeling of collective joy and celebration, in the air, when the colors return to the firmament of the city. The first flower buds pushing through the winter undertones with delicate colors. The shy and fragile greenery on the trees, that brings out the butterflies; the warm rains, singing in the water spouts, washing away the heavy winter blues; the fickle winds racing down Michigan Avenue, flirting with the colorful skirts. Interlaced with the fragrance of the hyacinths, daffodils and tulips is the scent of Love... It always seemed to me that in the spring, Chicago is falling in love again.
